As I knock on doors, Healthcare is a big concern for people in the district. Protecting people with pre-existing conditions is one of its most significant issues. Gov Walker's refusal to accept our BadgerCare expansion dollars has cost Wisconsin families over a billion in lost revenue, much-needed money to invest in education, infrastructure, and job training. It is an excellent example of politics getting in the way of common sense and the best interests of the people of Wisconsin. We need to do all we can to help provide affordable health care, including mental health and addiction services, to everyone in Wisconsin. Our people will be healthier and our economy stronger if we have the security of quality health care throughout the state.
