Civility

I had a great conversation at the Central Wisconsin State Fair in Marshfield yesterday, and I had a similar discussion with a gentleman in Eau Claire today.  Both of these men leaned Republican, but as we talked together, we listened to each other and found we had a lot in common. We talked about the importance of keeping an open mind.  Labels often get in the way of respectful and illuminating discussions. If we focus on areas of agreement and let the noise of our differences dissipate, we can accomplish great things.  With this in mind, please share your thoughts on civil discourse. The goal of District Views is to learn more about the important issues and concerns that impact the people of the 23rd district.
